i've been a very busy lil non-working bee this morning. i have: three tickets to the durham bulls vs. Syracuse Sky Chiefs for Saturday night. This game will feature me and hicham (and eesha?) along with my six-yr-old nephew matthew. two tickets to see kid rock in fairfax 5/11. Now, I don't particularly like kid rock, but I told my manfriend that I had already bought kid rock tickets - to the show in charlotte. what i failed to realize (and he didn't know) is that the concert is SUNDAY. nope, no can do. me, hicham, and the cousin spending a happy day of white-rock together? i think not. so, i'm gonna lie (again) and say i fucked up and got virginia tickets. it's only a few hours north, so i can deal. and since he's NEVER been to a concert, i think he'll be excited by the prospect. i have also procured a hotel room in fairfax for said adventure. there have been some minor work-affiliated happenings this morning, but those aren't important. this is why i love summer - so much to do, so much to see, and the beautiful ability to wear a tank top through it all!
